disipline can work with baby sign language

As with a child who communicates with speech, your daughter needs to have limits. If your child wants something that she shouldn't have - you have a responsibility to say 'no'.

I assure you, signing 'no' to her will not discourage her from signing in general! Relax, you aren't hurting your child or stunting her in any way by not letting her have her every whim & desire!

~Robin, mother of 4, ages 15 - 34 (including a 26 yr old autistic son whom I signed with when he was young)
