Finding the Perfect Way to Communicate

We have a 2 1/2 year old son with sensory issues and developmental delay, and a lot of times he will not use verbal words to talk to us its usually grunting that he does.
I started teaching him some of the basic signs for things like milk and hurt, stuff like that. It has helped tremendously, we communicate more now and can understand what he is saying, if we know the signs.
We don't know to many so some of the time we are playing the guessing game! We would love to learn more (sign language) to help open the door to more communication.
