How We Started Baby Sign Language

We started using baby sign language as a way to replace whining or crying.
The first thing my son used right off the bat was "milk". Instead of whining when he wanted a bottle he told us!
It meant no more frustrated baby or mom.
At 11 months old our son can now tell us when he wants to eat, drink, play with certain things, read a book, and (occasionally) potty!
Baby sign language has worked out great for us!
