Sign Language for My Children - Best Decision Ever

I sign with my 17 month old and my 3 1/2 year old.
Both started seeing signs around 5-6 months old and continue to this day.
"More" is a great starter sign - especially when it comes to meal and snack times.
I love being able to communicate even when they are upset and can't talk.
The whiny stages were never an issue with them either!
Stick with it and the benefits continue. My oldest has an amazing vocabulary - even strangers make comments about him knowing words he shouldn't know at his age.
