Baby Signing - How to Sign the Word Scared/Afraid


Imagine one night that your infant or toddler is crying and crying. You offer a bottle, a pacifier, frustratingly pace back and forth in the halls with him, basically trying to figure out what is wrong.

Now imagine walking into (crying) Baby’s room, asking him what’s wrong, and he immediately signs ‘scared’. It could be a shadow coming from the window, a toy that looks odd in the dark, maybe his nightlight went out, etc. But now you know!
