Using Baby Signing - An RN and Her Client

As an RN working with a three year old with developmental speech delays I use many of the baby signs with him throughout my 40 hour week.

He is at this time unable to verbalize and I've taught him the signs for basic communication.

He can now sign bus, fish, book, swim and more.

Being able to sign just these simple words allows him to release many of his frustrations and he can finally see that it's possible to communicate with his caregivers.
