With Baby Signing - Life is so much easier!

My son is 13 months old, and we have been signing since he was about 9 months old.

He signs "done" (which quickly progressed into him actually saying "I done!"), "more", "eat", and "please".

Just these few words have made such a difference!! Especially "done" and "eat".

I can ask if he is hungry, and he will sign "eat".

He says & signs "done" at the end of a meal, when he is ready to get out of the bathtub, and even in the mornings when he is ready to get up he lets me know by verbally telling me "mama mama I done!" through the baby monitor :)

I definitely think teaching him the signs has developed his language skills because he is very verbal as well.
