How to Sign Water In Baby Sign Language (ASL)
Your baby son or daughter may be thirsty and simply want a nice cool cup of water. Not milk, not juice, but refreshing clear water! Now you will know for sure.
This sign uses the manual ‘w’ handshape from the American Sign Language manual alphabet.
You take this ‘w’ handshape and place this near the lower-right side of your chin/cheek area. Your palm should be facing left (or facing right, if you are using your left hand). Tap this right cheek/chin area twice. (Only your index (first) finger should be touching/tapping your lower-chin)
